Kindergarten Promises

What a blessing to watch our youngest students learn and grow!
During the last week of school, our Kindergarten students celebrated
the "graduation" from Kindergarten with a special graduation ceremony.

One of the songs they sang at their graduation is called "I am a Promise".
The words are a beautiful summary of how we view our students
and strive to guide them on their journey.

I am a promise
I am a possibility

I am a promise with a capital "P"
I am a great big bundle of potentiality

And I am learnin' to hear God's voice
And I am tryin' to make the right choice

I am a promise to be anything God wants me to be.

I can go anywhere that He wants me to go
I can be anything He wants me to be

I can climb the high mountains
I can cross the wide sea
I'm a great big promise you see!

They also recited Psalm 100 from memory, a psalm that our student memorize many times throughout their years at Beacon.
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before Him with joyful songs.
Know that the Lord is God.
It is He who made us, and we are His
We are His people, the sheep of His pasture.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving
and His courts with praise;
give thanks to Him and praise His name.
For the Lord is good and His love endures forever;
His faithfulness continues through all generations.

We look forward to watching God continue to work in these young lives!
